Retainer plus close fee.

Buy-side mandates run on a monthly retainer paid against a close fee. The retainer reflects the work we do whether or not a deal closes; the close fee reflects the outcome.

"Monthly retainers range from $15,000 to $35,000 depending on mandate complexity and search scope, paid against a success fee on close. All terms agreed in advance and documented in writing."
